PADI UNDERWATER NAVIGATOR SPECIALTY
Knowing where you are - underwater - and where you're
going comes in really handy, especially if you're looking for
an object or locating that beautiful reef that you have heard about.
During your PADI Underwater Navigator Burma programme you'll
go on three open water dives familiarising yourself with the
scuba skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures, techniques,
problems, hazards and enjoyment of underwater navigation.
You'll learn methods of estimating distance underwater, natural
navigation techniques, how to use underwater diving patterns, dive
site relocation techniques, and compass navigation techniques.
The elective Navigation dive conducted during your
Adventures In Diving programme may count toward this specialty.
