There's so much to see underwater in Burma diving that you'll want to make the most of your stay. So, to maximise your underwater adventure, you should learn how to plan and carry out a multilevel dive - one that involve a significant change of depth other than during descent and ascent.
During the early days of scuba, dive profiles were calculated assuming you dived from the surface down to a maximum depth, then back to the surface. Now, dive computers continually analyse your depth, giving you credit for going shallower and allowing you to maximize your bottom time.
During your Multilevel Diver programme, you'll go on 2 open water dives, both of which may be conducted in 1 day. The first dive will be at 2 depth levels; the third will be on 3 levels. You'll also be exposed to a variety of different types of multilevel dive calculators (the Wheel and various types of dive computers).
Topics covered include:
You need to be an Open Water Diver and at least 12 years old to take this course. The elective Multilevel Dive from the Advanced Open Water Diver or Adventures in Diving may count toward the certification requirements for this specialty.
