The PADI Boat Diver programme makes Burma diving easy - just take one giant step off the back and you're in the water!
During the Boat Diver programme you'll go on 2 open water dives, which must be - you've got it - conducted from a boat (both may be conducted in one day). It's a good idea, but not required, that you enrol in this programme to learn boat terminology and safety, and the techniques and procedures for diving from different types of boats (inflatable boats, hard-hulled day boats, cabin cruisers, Burma liveaboards, sailboats, etc.), including how to enter and exit. That's a good thing - becuase the more boats that you dive from, the more diving you are going to do too!
And, the elective boat dive from the Adventures in Diving programme counts toward certification requirements for this specialty at the discretion of the instructor. To start the course you'll need at least your Open Water certification and be at least 10 years old.
