| wood mono-hull motor liveaboard boat... |
|
|
The MV Jazz is a British owned Burma Banks diving liveaboard with a lot of character. It is a great lower priced option for the Similans and Burma.
Length: 25 metres / 83 foot
Beam: 6 metres / 19 foot
Cruise: 10 knots
Divers: 16
|
 |
It is a smaller boat than some of its rivals, but it is in fact quite spacious, particularly the dive deck which caters comfortably for a full boat of 16 divers.
There are four are double bed cabins and four twins, half of each type being en-suite; the others have shared bathrooms.
You can spend your down time in Burma relaxing in the air conditioned lounge and enjoying all the mod-cons they have such as TV, DVD and music system, or you can catch a few rays on the sun deck at the bow of the boat.
Dining takes place in the large, shaded open air dining area on the upper deck, where you can enjoy the buffet style menu consisting of both international cuisine as well as mouth-watering Thai favourites.
On a Burma liveaboard where there are four divemasters catering to the needs of 16 divers (at the most) you can expect plenty of personal attention and a more personalised underwater experience. For those wanting to enjoy the best diving in the Burma Banks, the Mergui Archipelago and Thailand, yet not wanting to spend big bucks for the privilege, there are no better options that the MV Jazz.
